Hotel Policies

We've added below some of our Guest House Policies to be able to make your stay more comfortable with us, please take a look at them below: 

  • La Esmeralda is a non-smoking property. A $200 smoke recovery fee will be applied for any violations of this policy.
  • Check In Time 3:00PM & Check Out Time is 11:00AM
  • Occupancy listes by apartment is the maximum allowed. 
  • One night deposit will be charged anytime after the reservation.
  • Pet(s) are allowed at an additional fee of $25 for your entire stay, this is only for small/medium dogs. Large dogs are not allowed. All pets need to be notified before staying + have their papers to date. 
 
 
 

Privacy

La Esmeralda and its 6 apartments each have a independent and private entrance. Your privacy as a guest will be top priority during your stay here. If for any reason a staff member of La Esmeralda needs to enter your apartment, as a guest you will be notified with at least a 24 hour anticipation. If staff needs to enter due to an emergency on-site, we will call you at the moment to notify you.

La Esmeralda is located in a laid back and residential street known as Buenos Aires in Ocean Park. Ocean Park is one of the top-most well known communities in Puerto Rico, investors and some of Puerto Rico's elite sought after this community for their stays and with that comes the safety of the neighborhood. La Esmeralda is a safe environment to be in, whether its just to sit back and relax or to explore the vibrant neighborhood. 

 
 
 

Cancellations & Refunds

  • All cancellations have to be made 5 days before arrival date.
  • Cancellation during the 4 days before arrival are fully charged. 
  • Cancellations need to be confirmed by email, not over the phone.
  • No refunds for no shows, late arrivals or early departures .
  • Rates are subject to change without notice.
  • A fee of $50.00 will be applied for lost or damaged room/entrance key.
  • One night deposit will be charged anytime after the reservation.
  • Non-Refundable rates will be charged in full anytime after the reservation.
